Charlie Arnold

Charlie Arnold is Of Counsel at Continuum Legal Group, where he brings over a decade of experience as an attorney and business advisor. Charlie is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals in a timely and practical manner.

Charlie began his legal career with the international firm of King & Spalding as an associate in the “capital markets and real estate transactions” practice group, where his practice focused on capital raising transactions and the related deployment of that capital in mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures. Charlie continues to counsel private equity funds and their sponsors, asset managers, and corporate clients in these transactions. In 2016, Charlie began transitioning into more business-oriented roles, serving as in-house counsel for highly regulated and fast-growing financial firms (LendingClub and BlueVine Capital). At LendingClub, Charlie worked for LendingClub’s registered investment adviser (LendingClub Advisors), focusing primarily on LCA’s captive private equity funds and related corporate transactions. Before transitioning to BlueVine Capital, Charlie began advising LendingClub on its structured finance transactions. Charlie then spent the next 2 years focusing primarily on structured finance and general corporate transactions. Charlie’s broad experience includes representing clients ranging from traditional private equity sponsors to startup technology companies on equity and debt financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.

Charlie was born and raised in Macon, GA. Charlie then attended the University of Georgia, earning his B.B.A in real estate from the Terry College of Business. After spending 2 years in Costa Rica and Panama working and learning Spanish, Charlie returned to Athens, GA to earn his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on Georgia Law Review.
