Marc Glenn is co-founder and partner of Continuum Legal Group. With more than 20 years of experience as an attorney and business advisor, Marc is dedicated to providing clients with strategic, timely, creative, and practical ways to accomplish their goals.
Marc has extensive experience representing clients in all areas of real estate, lending and corporate finance, including in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, leasing, subleasing, workout and foreclosure of commercial, office, retail, industrial and multifamily real estate. As part of his practice, Marc also represents and advises clients in complex bond financing transactions (including bonds-for-title and sale/leaseback transactions), outdoor advertising acquisitions, the corporate structuring of entities (including non-profits and supporting organizations), and all aspects of real estate held or utilized for higher educational purposes.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Marc received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and attended law school at the University of Virginia. Marc enjoys spending time with his family and their golden retriever, Buddy. He also enjoys watching the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Practice Highlights
- Nationally-recognized university's development of a technology research park. Represented a nationally-recognized university in the acquisition, development, financing and operation of a technology research park located in downtown Atlanta, including in the negotiation and completion of numerous complex lease agreements with technology and medical research companies, and the subsequent massive redevelopment and expansion of the research park into a mixed-use, bioscience-focused national hub.
- Acquisition of more than $1 billion in multi-family properties. Represented a national real estate developer in the acquisition and disposition of more than $1 billion in multi-family properties throughout the United States, including the negotiation and closing of loans to finance each acquisition.
- Advised State Foundation on Structuring and Real Estate Portfolio. Provided extensive advice on the restructuring of the parent entity and an extensive network of subsidiary entities for the holding of real estate, on agreements with other governmental entities, on numerous Board governance matters, and on the ownership of over $500 million in real estate.
- Outdoor advertising company acquisitions of companies, properties and easements. Represented two of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world in the acquisitions of hundreds of properties and billboard easements throughout the United States, in the complex financing of billboard and office locations, and the acquisition of entire portfolios of companies.
- Library facility joint venture between two nationally recognized universities. Represented a joint venture of two nationally recognized universities in the acquisition and development of a unique shared library facility, and in the closing of a large bond transaction to finance the construction and operation of the facility.
- Local Counsel Advice to Other National Law Firms. Advised borrowers and other national law firms on Georgia loan transactions, with total values exceeding $4 billion, providing advice on laws in the State of Georgia relating to loan transactions and ownership of properties, as well as delivering opinion letters for loan closings.
- Loan transactions valued at $1 billion+ for investment and insurance company. Represented one of the world’s largest investment and insurance companies in dozens of loan transactions totaling more than $1 billion.
- Retail, industrial and office space leasing. Represented numerous clients in the leasing of retail, industrial and office space, including a national real estate company, a national technology company, a major hospital, multiple restaurants and a major pharmaceutical company.
- Award of grants from the US Department of Commerce. Represented numerous companies in the application award and implementation of grants from the Economic Development Administration of the United States Department of Commerce.
- Closed large bond refinancing for nationally-recognized university. Represented a nationally recognized university in the closing of a large bond refinancing transaction on a downtown Atlanta tower, including extensive real estate lease restructuring.
- Leading food service operator’s property redevelopments. Representation of one of the world's leading food service operators in the rebuild, redevelopment, acquisition and leasing of more than 100 properties throughout the United States.

Professional Accomplishments
Marc was appointed by President Clinton to serve as a member of the Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance. The committee was charged with providing advice directly to Congress and the President on all matters relating to financial assistance to students.
Marc was appointed by the government of the Republic of Iceland as honorary consul, and he currently serves in this diplomatic post. In this capacity, he serves Icelandic citizens in Georgia and the surrounding states, assisting in various matters related to immigration and local laws. In addition, he represents the government of Iceland at international and business events in Georgia and around the United States.
Professional and Community Involvement
Marc is passionate about his children’s education at the Epstein School in Atlanta, and volunteers extensively at the school, having served on the Board of Trustees, Finance Committee, Leadership Institute, and as President of the Board of Trustees.
In addition to his involvement at Epstein, Marc volunteered as a youth baseball coach for many years at Northside Youth Organization.
