Wade Buser is a partner with Continuum Legal Group LLP, and has been with the firm since it was formed on July 1, 2021. Wade has been practicing for almost 40 years and is well-versed in most areas of commercial real estate. Wade has practiced in Georgia since 1984, and was also admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007.
Wade has extensive experience in all facets of commercial (retail and office), industrial and multifamily real estate, including acquisitions, sales and developments, contract preparation and negotiation, commercial leasing transactions, foreclosures, loan restructures and workouts, REOs, secured and unsecured lending transactions, asset-based lending, bond financing and condominium developments. He has represented purchasers, sellers and developers of real estate, federal and state banks, credit unions, the FDIC, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, commercial brokers, retail and office leasing companies, educational institutions and affiliates, and various other entities in purchasing, selling, developing, lending, leasing and managing real estate. Wade strives to learn the objectives of each of his clients, and to represent the client with those objectives in mind.
Wade has two adult children of whom he is very proud. When not practicing law, he enjoys music, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Practice Highlights
- Represented a nationally recognized State university in the successful acquisition of 52+ acres of research, warehouse and office buildings for an expansion of an existing research campus
- Represented a nationally recognized State university in the closing of a large bond refinancing transaction on a downtown Atlanta tower, including extensive real estate lease restructuring
- Represented a nationally recognized State university in the acquisition, development, financing and operation of a technology research and life sciences park located in downtown Atlanta, including in the negotiation and completion of numerous complex lease agreements with technology and medical research companies
- Represented a national bank in a complex bond financing transaction and loans to facilitate the development of a new residential tower in midtown Atlanta
- Represented a joint venture of two nationally recognized State universities in the acquisition and development of a unique shared library facility, and in the closing of a large million bond transaction to finance the construction and operation of the facility
- Title agent for $150 million acquisition of office tower in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia.
- Represented the owner in the development of $100 million office tower in four-tower office complex in Atlanta, Georgia
- Multiple representations of borrowers and lending institutions in complex financing transactions ranging from $20,000,000 to $700,000,000+
